Indiana’s own McYoung Foods seeks to aid in Hurricane Ian relief effort

Indianapolis, IN— September 30, 2022 —McYoung Foods, the makers of Awesome Granola™, have announced a new initiative to help the victims of the devastating Hurricane Ian that made landfall Wednesday. For the next two weeks, a portion of all Awesome Granola™  sales will be donated to the American Red Cross. According to their website, the “American Red Cross prevents and alleviates human suffering in the face of emergencies by mobilizing the power of volunteers and the generosity of donors.”

“One of the core principles of the Awesome Granola™  brand is the improvement of the wellbeing of others. That’s why we make allergen-free Awesome Granola™ —because we want all people to be seen and included, regardless of food allergy or restriction. This initiative is our small way of saying to our fellow Americans in Florida, ‘We see you and we are trying to help the best way we can,’” said Jeff Young, President/CEO at McYoung Foods.
